Sharm El-Sheikh - MENA
The Transportation Ministry will promote six projects worth USD 13.6 billion at the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) to be held on Friday in Sharm el Sheikh.
The projects will be presented through franchise and management contracts, Transportation Minister Hani Dahy said in an interview with Nile News TV on Thursday.
He added that the projects include establishing dry ports and rail freight transport.
The three-day conference aims at luring more investments after four years of political turmoil.
