Cairo - MENA
Egypt's foreign debts decreased by 10.3% to $41.3 billion in December 2014 compared to $46.1 billion in June 2014, the Central Bank of Egypt said.
The decline of the exchange rate of the majority of currencies against the US dollar contributed to the drop in the nation's foreign debt, the CBE said in a report Monday.
In Egypt, external debt is part of the total debt that is owed to creditors outside the country.
