The Ministerial Economic Committee held a meeting Monday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
The meeting dealt with the preparations for Egypt's friends conference early next year, as well as the financial and monetary indexes.
Cabinet spokesman Hossam Gawish said the meeting dealt with measures of controlling markets in the interest of citizens.
The meeting was attended by the governor of the Central Bank of Egypt as well as the ministers of planning, petroleum, finance, international cooperation, investments.
