Container ship

A Suez Canal authority official told MENA a Maltese container ship, carrying 74,000 tons, collided with a tugboat at the Suez Canal on Saturday.
The source said the tugboat had serious damages after the accident with the Maltese container ship that was en route to the Mediterranean Sea in the north-bound convoy.
The source added that the Maltese container ship agent would bear the costs of repairing the tugboat, while she completed her trip.
The source said navigation through the waterway went on as usual.
