Head of the general syndicate of spinning and weaving Abdel-Fattah Ibrahim said on Friday that a committee under head of the Holding Company for Spinning and Weaving Ahmed Mostafa has finalized bid requirements to choose an Egyptian or foreign consulting firm to prepare a study aiming at rescuing the industry.
The final bid requirements will be submitted to Investment Minister Ashraf Salman, Ibrahim said in statements.
The consulting firm will provide a solution to the industry's problems to help develop it within a period up to three months, he added.
