Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi praised the accelerated development witnessed by Bahrain in various fields, stressing the depth of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Prime Minister Abbasi today received Bahrain’s official delegation led by Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh. He commended the results of the visit of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in 2014, appreciating Bahrain initiative to build a College of Nursing in Islamabad.
He praised Bahrain policy to encourage investment and attract foreign capital, calling for expanding trade exchange with Bahrain.
He pointed out Bahraini and Pakistani uniform stances supportive to international efforts to combat and eliminate terrorism.
The Shura Chairman conveyed greeting of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and congratulated Premier Abbasi on his election as head of the current government.
He lauded the progressive bilateral relations in various areas, including legislative, economic and cultural, noting that Bahrain adopts economic openness in its relations with all Arab and friendly countries.
