The Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Committee convened for its 20th ordinary meeting. Dr. Fawziya Said Saleh chaired the session at the National Institution of Human Rights (NIHR) at its headquarters in Seef area in the presence of member Dr. Badr Mohammed Adel
The panel was updated on the law decree 70 for 2014, amending articles of the law decree 5 for 2002 on the ratification of Convention on the Elimination of All. Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
The session discussed the final remarks issued by the committee concerned with the CEDAW convention, focusing part particularly on the section "Civil Society and NGOs".
