The 24th African Union summit launched discussions Friday on Africa’s social and economic development agenda 2063.
During the discussions, Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry asserted Cairo's support to carry out the agenda.
The summit has also considered reports on fighting Ebola disease by establishment of the African Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.
Also, the summit studied a report on the Conference of Ministers of Finance and Economy to find alternative sources of financing the African Union.
