Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has set up a representative office in the Cypriot capital, Nicosia, aimed at strengthening investment co-operation between the AFZ and Nicosia.
"Ajman Free Zone has opened its doors to Cypriot investments with promising opportunities in an encouraging environment with the laws and facilities offered by the emirate, which will lead to strong partnerships between the two parties in vital economic sectors," said Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, Director-General of Ajman Free Zone.
Al Hashemi said this is aimed at expanding the horizons of economic and investment co-operation and strengthening bilateral relations, in line with their mutual economic and investment aspirations.

Al Hashemi and his delegation spoke about the services of Ajman Free Zone, one of the most attractive investment centres in the region, during an open meeting at the Hilton Park Nicosia, in the presence of Abdulwahab Nasser Al Najjar, Ambassador of the UAE to Cyprus, on the sidelines of the opening of the office.
Al Hashemi confirmed the free zone’s readiness to provide all services and facilities for prospective investors. It is one of the fastest growing free zones in the region and will continue in its efforts to maintain this expansion and growth while the future will see more customer-based developments and services, he added.
During the presentation, the delegation met with several businessmen, investment officials and journalists to discuss common grounds for establishing trade and investment partnerships between the two countries.
