Cairo - MENA
Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdullah allocated on Thursday three million pounds to develop potable water network in central Hurghada.
The money will go for improving water flow and ending water leaks resulting from ailing water networks, chairman of the Drinking Water Company board Yahia Sadek.
He said water networks in the area are poor and have been in place for 40 years so they need to be replaced especially as they serve 15,000 citizens, he added.
