The Agriculture Ministry said 260,000 feddans will be cotton-cultivated by the end of the year.
A statement by public administration to combat agricultural pests said as many as 30,425 feddans have been cultivated in Upper Egypt, while there are 34,140 feddans cultivated in Lower Egypt.
