Labour Ministry's Undersecretary Sabah Al-Dossary said that 1215 jobseekers have been nominated for jobs in various market sectors as part of the Kingdom of Bahrain's 10,000 New Jobs Scheme in the various economic sectors, including commerce and industry.
He told Bahrain News Agency that 1092 registered jobseekers have already been found jobs by the Ministry in the retail trade and accountancy sectors. He said that an ad-hoc committee comprising representatives from 7 governmental bodies was formed so as to choose a company for implementation of the National Manpower Observatory Project to begin in December. The implementation company would be announced shortly.
Regarding latest developments of the Freelance Workers Social Insurance, Al-Dossary urged all Bahraini workers to register with the General Organisation of Social Insurance "GOSI", pointing out that the monthly subscription installments deductible will be reasonable.
And regarding workers' training in the private sector, he said that employers will be able to benefit from the training fees and get a refund of one year fees under the workers' training programmes. He said that some medium-sized establishments pay the training subscriptions but fail to give their employees the opportunity of availing from these subscriptions.
