UN chief Ban Ki-moon told world climate negotiations in Lima on Tuesday that there is "still a chance" of limiting global warming to safer levels, but time is running out.
"There is still a chance to stay within the internationally-agreed ceiling of less than 2 C (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) ... but the window of opportunity is fast narrowing," the secretary general said.
