Several people were injured Wednesday in an explosion on a Petrobras oil rig off Brazil's southeastern coast, a spokesman for the state government of Espirito Santo told AFP.
Globo television reported three deaths and 15 seriously injured following the blast but neither Petrobras nor the state government could confirm the claim.
