Pope Francis arrived in the Philippines on Thursday for the second leg of an Asian tour that organisers believe could see a world-record crowd turn out for a papal mass.
Francis landed at Manila's international airport from Sri Lanka, and was due to be greeted by Philippine President Benigno Aquino.
