NASA launched an unmanned spacecraft Friday to study the Moon\'s thin, dusty atmosphere. Blazing a red path in the night sky, the LADEE mission lifted off at 11:27 pm (0327 GMT) aboard a Minotaur V rocket, a reconditioned missile operated by Orbital Sciences Corporation.
