Five Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and 14 wounded in the past 24 hours of a ceasefire that has been regularly breached, a defence spokesman in Kiev told AFP on Tuesday.
Most of the deaths occurred near Debaltseve, a railway hub town in the east that is the focus of persistent fighting, the spokesman, Vladyslav Seleznyov, said.
