US Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Geneva on Thursday to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov to discuss the Syria crisis, a US official told AFP. The news came shortly after Kerry spoke by telephone with Lavrov seeking details of a Russian proposal to neutralize Syria\'s chemical weapons stock by putting it under international control.
