Irish carrier Aer Lingus said Tuesday it was "willing to recommend" a takeover approach worth 1.35 billion euros ($1.51 billion) from International Airlines Group, parent of British Airways and Iberia.
Dublin-based Aer Lingus said in a statement that its board "has indicated to IAG that the financial terms are at a level at which it would be willing to recommend", one day after revealing that IAG had lodged a third bid worth 2.55 euros per share.
