The FARC and the Colombian government agreed Wednesday to resume peace talks that stalled over the kidnap of an army general, according to Cuba and Norway, the two countries shepherding the peace process.
The next round of talks will take place in Cuba from December 10-17, "with the aim of advancing the issue of de-escalation of the conflict," Cuban official Jose Luis Ponce said in a statement. The move comes after the FARC released a general and other captives.
