The death toll in a ferry accident in central Bangladesh soared to 65 on Monday, as navy and fire brigade divers recovered another 24 bodies, police said.
"Most of the new bodies were found in the boat after it was raised and dragged to the shore. The death toll is now 65," inspector Abdul Muktadir told AFP.
