Bailiffs moved in to Hong Kong's main pro-democracy site Thursday in the first step of a clearance operation to end more than two months of rallies calling for free leadership elections.
Dozens of workers dismantled barricades at one end of the Admiralty protest camp as hundreds of protesters waited further down the highway to face a police swoop which will clear the rest of the site later in the morning.
