Colombian airline Avianca has signed a memorandum of understanding on purchasing 100 of Airbus's fuel-efficient medium-haul A320neo planes, the European aircraft manufacturer said Thursday.
The order is worth $10.6 billion at list prices, but airlines are usually able to negotiate considerable discounts when ordering many planes.
