Julian Assange's lawyer on Friday welcomed an offer by Swedish prosecutors to question the WikiLeaks founder in London over rape allegations.
"It's something that we have been asking for four years," Per Samuelsson told the Swedish daily Aftonbladet. "This is the way to go so that he is (proven) innocent."
