Eight children have been found dead at a house in the Australian city of Cairns after a mass stabbing, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) said.
Police had no immediate comment but the ABC said authorities had confirmed the deaths and that a woman was also injured. Other reports said that seven children had died.
