An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale struck Al Namas in Saudi Arabia on Friday, the Saudi Geological Society has said.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth 9.1 kilometers, the SGS said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the local administration in Asir affirmed that the tremors caused no damage.

On October 17, the survey authority reported a mild earthquake at the Red Sea of Jeddah.
