Beware of jumping to conclusions. Just because someone's behaviour seems suspicious does not mean they are up to no good. Give a kind person the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes you have difficulty believing in those who are softly spoken and generous. Don't let past betrayals poison your view of human nature. If you hear vicious gossip, don't repeat it. The last thing you want is to destroy the reputation of an innocent victim. To avoid trouble, listen more and speak less.
