Minister of Defense Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Iran is to showcase new marine patrol aircraft soon. He said the aircraft have been designed and constructed by the Iranian experts. The minister hoped that the aircraft will be showcased during the ten-day ceremonies to celebrate the anniversay of victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran which is to start on January 30, 2012. According to the minister, Iranian scientists are completing the final phase of a research project to send a satellite carrying a biological package to the space soon.
