An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 248km S of Amahusu, Indonesia at 2015-05- 14 17:38:21 GMT on Thursday (2015-05-15 01:38:21 Beijing Time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 362.98 km, was initially determined to be at 5.9686 degrees south latitude and 128.3093 degrees east longitude.
