An officer, two security personnel and two conscripts were injured in a blast that targeted an armored vehicle in Arish Tuesday, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.

The injured were rushed to a hospital to receive treatment, the ministry added.

Security bodies intensified their efforts to determine the circumstances of the incident, the statement concluded.
