Six persons were wounded in a house blast in Fayyoum on Wednesday.

A gas leakage caused the explosion of an under-construction housing unit in Dar Ramad district, causing the injury of six persons and some cracks in nearby buildings.

Civil defense forces rushed to the area to contain the situation and an engineering committee was formed to examine the unit and see what caused the gas leakage.
