Two sentries were wounded by gunfire when unknown elements opened fire at them in a Sharqiya village.

The two policemen were targeted by motorcyclists at Al Qaramos village of Abu Kebeer city, a report to Sharqiya police chief Major General Hassan Seif on Friday said.

The victims were rushed to hospital, a combing operation was launched by police authorities, and prosecution authorities were notified to start investigations.
