Leading 3-2 after last week\'s first leg, they wrapped up an aggregate 4-2 victory tonight courtesy of Karim Benzema\'s 72nd-minute goal. Mallorca hit back from a 3-0 aggregate deficit to brush aside Real Sociedad and book their place in the quarter-finals with a 6-1 win tonight. Sociedad looked set to progress when Diego Ifran added to their 2-0 first-leg advantage with the opening goal in tonight\'s return. However, the Basque side were stunned when four goals in eight minutes from Gonzalo Castro (2), Tomer Hemad and Jose Nunes had them trailing 4-1 at half-time.
