Real Madrid booked their place in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals tonight, and a probable clash with rivals Barcelona, by securing a 1-0 victory over Malaga. Leading 3-2 after last week\'s first leg, they wrapped up an aggregate 4-2 victory tonight courtesy of Karim Benzema\'s 72nd-minute goal. Alvaro Arbeloa was dismissed for Jose Mourinho\'s men, who will face the winners of Thursday\'s return leg between Osasuna and Barcelona, which the European champions lead after a 4-0 first leg success at the Nou Camp last week. Mallorca hit back from a 3-0 aggregate deficit to brush aside Real Sociedad and book their place in the quarter-finals with a 6-1 win tonight. Sociedad looked set to progress when Diego Ifran added to their 2-0 first-leg advantage with the opening goal in tonight\'s return. However, the Basque side were stunned when four goals in eight minutes from Gonzalo Castro (2), Tomer Hemad and Jose Nunes had them trailing 4-1 at half-time. Alejandro Alfaro made it 5-1 eight minutes into the second half and when Hemad netted his second goal just before the hour mark, the contest was over. In tonight\'s other game, Mirandes completed another upset as they knocked out Racing Santander. The team from Spain\'s third tier, who knocked out Villarreal in the previous round, led 2-0 from the first leg and made sure of progress tonight with a 1-1 draw. Racing were back in it when Pedro Munitis gave them the lead ten minutes before the break, but the home side\'s Bernardo was dismissed 11 minutes into the second half and Pablo Infante\'s penalty 16 minutes later gave Mirandes a draw and 3-1 aggregate success.
