Head of the Libyan Presidential Council and Prime Minister Fayez Al Seraj asserted that his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was "very positive" and would give a strong push to the Libyan political agreement and the national consensus government.
Interviewed by the Middle East Newspaper in its Saudi edition, Seraj said steps to reach national reconciliation among the Libyan people have already started, noting that contacts have been made with all Libyans abroad in this regard.
He made it clear that the political agreement clinched in Morocco's Skhirat will comprise all Libyan parties, adding that the national reconciliation government will work according to a comprehensive political vision that handle all political, security and economic files.
Seraj also said the government should first obtain the confidence of the parliament in order to activate its role on the ground, asserting that the presidential council will work on expanding the political participation and confront the political groups.
Despite the formation of the government, but there are much efforts to be exerted to activate the work of the ministries to carry out their duties on the ground and follow up the implementation of any plans to face economic, political and security crises, he added.
