A record number of athletes are set to compete at the World Championships in Athletics starting this weekend, the international athletics governing body said Monday. The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) made available the provisional entry list of 1,945 athletes from 202 countries for the world championships, which will begin their nine-day run this Saturday here, about 300 kilometers southeast of Seoul.
