Italian national champion Giovanni Visconti will race for Movistar in 2012 after signing a two-year deal with the Spanish cycling outfit, they announced Tuesday. The 28-year-old, who hails from Sicily, joins from Italian outfit Farnese Vini. Visconti made his professional debut in 2005 and has won the Italian national road race three times, in 2007, 2010 and 2011.
