Egyptian women's national football team defeated their Zimbabwean counterparts 1/0 in the second round of Group One of Africa Women Cup of Nations hosted by Cameroon.

The match took place on Tuesday at the Yaounde Omnisport Stadium.

The victory goal was secured by footballer Salma Tarek in the second half.

The Pharaohs will meet South Africa on Friday.
