Ilkay Gundogan struck twice as Manchester City beat Barcelona 3-1 at the Etihad on Tuesday evening.
Lionel Messi opened the scoring with a well-taken effort following a slick Barcelona counter-attack, before the Germany international levelled the scoring.
Kevin de Bruyne then gave City the lead with a free kick, before Gundogan added a third to secure the points for Pep Guardiola against his former side.
Manchester City are second in Group C with seven points, two below Barcelona who top the group. The Catalan side had defeated City 4-0 in Camp Nou
