Dai Greene won the men's 400m hurdles world title on Thursday in a time of 48.26sec, the first gold of the championships for next year's Olympic host Britain. Puerto Rico's Javier Culson took silver in 48.44sec with L.J. Van Zyl winning bronze (48.80).
