Muhammad Waseem fired a stunning century as Bukhatir XI trounced Sealine Defenders by a huge 163 runs in the Sharjah T20 Summer Cup 2017 organised by Sharjah Cricket Club.
Put in to bat first, Bukhatir XI's opener Muhammad Waseem ripped through the Sealine Defenders bowlers as he hammered a brilliant 147 in just 67 deliveries. His innings was studded with seven hits to the fence and 14 over it.
He shared a first-wicket partnership of 71 runs with Khalid Shah who only contributed 16 from as many balls.
The second wicket stand of 162-run put Bukhatir XI on the top before Muhammad Waseem succumbed. Vishnu Sukumaran remained unbeaten on 53 from 35 balls. Chasing a massive target, Sealine Defenders lost four wickets for just 25 runs. Waseem Rana waged a lone battle scoring a 27-ball 37 but his innings could only help Sealine Defenders reach a paltry 82 before being all out in 15.5 overs.
