Emirates Warriors defeated Mir by seven wickets.

Abdul Hafeez smashed an unbeaten half century as Emirates Warriors eased past Mir by seven wickets in the Sharjah Summer Cup, organised by Sharjah Cricket Club.

Batting first at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, opener Abdul Shakoor gave Mir a steady start with a 13-ball 23 containing three boundaries and as many sixes.

Hisan Mir played a cautious innings to notch up a fine 46 from 48 balls including six boundaries while Fayyaz Ahmed hit a 15-ball 23 consisting of a four and two sixes as Mir  posted 130 for eight in 20 overs.

Zeeshan Durani claimed three wickets in his four overs conceding 18 runs while Abdul Hafeez bagged two.

Chasing 131, Abdul Hafeez single-handedly took his team past the target as Emirates Warriors won in just 16.3 overs.

Abdul Hafeez remained unbeaten on 77 from just 56 balls peppered with five boundaries and six sixes. Fahad Tariq chipped in with 17 off only 16 balls including three boundaries.
