Brazzaville - Arab Today
Twelve countries, including Algeria, are to compete in the 13th Africa Tennis Cup of Nations, in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo, November 10-16, Congolese media reported on Friday.
In addition to Algeria, the event will bring together the Republic of Congo, DR Congo, Togo, Cameroon, Gabon, Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Niger, Ivory Coast and Mali.
Besides its competitive nature, the African tournament will allow Congolese to test the sites hosting the event, ahead of the 11th the Africa Games to take place in Brazzaville, in September 2015.
The tennis CAN 2015 will also be an opportunity for the competing African athletes to assess their performance at the continental level.
Ten tennis courts have been developed to host the tournament.
