Zenit St Petersburg extended their lead at the top of the Russian Premier League to nine points with a 5-1 rout of third-placed Dinamo Moscow. Two goals in as many minutes put the leaders in control as early as the 14th minute as Domenico Criscito and Alexander Kerzhakov struck. Sergei Semak then made it three ten minutes later to all but seal the points with less than a third of the match gone. Veteran German striker Kevin Kuranyi responded for Dinamo in the 72nd minute, but that only served to wake Zenit up again as Kerzhakov\'s second and a late Szabolcs Huszti goal completed the rout. The win puts Zenit nine points clear of CSKA Moscow, having played a game more. Dinamo are 11 points back.
