Volga Nizhny Novgorod came from behind to win 3-1 away to Terek Grozny and improve their chances of avoiding relegation from the Russian Premier League. Junior Mauricio had given Terek the lead with a penalty after 22 minutes but the visitors drew level with a strike from Shota Bibilov after 53 minutes. They went on to claim all three points with further goals from Andrei Karyaka and substitute Ruslan Adzhindzhal.
