Edinburgh - Arabstoday
According to the Daily Mail, the on-loan Wolves forward took exception to comments made by Fenlon and, outraged at being singled out for criticism, launched into the Irishman. The incident brought an abrupt close to what was apparently a volatile training session, in the aftermath of Hibernian’s derby defeat to Hearts on Sunday. It is claimed several Hibernain players had to be pulled apart earlier in the day before being given a dressing down by Fenlon. When the former Bohemians boss turned his attention to Griffiths, the player snapped and butted the Irishman before storming off in the direction of the changing rooms. He was pursued by Fenlon’s assistant Brown, who was punched by the Scotland U21 international. Griffiths then continued to the changing room where he emptied his locker and departed the Ormiston complex. It seems certain Griffiths will now return to Molineux, despite the two months left on his loan deal.
