Champions Juventus defended today their title after defeating Carpi 2-0 Sunday. 
The win is Juventus marks the old lady's fifth consecutive title win. Brazilian Hernanes fired into the right corner in the 42nd minute to net his first goal of the season. Simone Zaza nodded home 10 minutes from time. 
With two games remaining, Carpi are fourth from bottom. They are three points away from relegation. Palermo, 18th placed, will play Sampdoria later today.
