Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb Wednesday stressed Al Azhar's readiness to cooperate with the UNESCO in the educational fields.

During a meeting with a UNESCO delegation, Tayyeb called for defining a scientific program for joint action between Al Azhar and the UNESCO.

The delegation asserted that the organization seeks to enhance cooperation with Al Azhar and to establish a training program on peaceful coexistence and openness.
