The United States has condemned in the strongest terms the bombing of a police bus travelling on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway near Jidhafs on Friday that killed a policeman and injured eight others.

In its statement issued today, the US embassy extended its deepest condolences to the family of the slain policeman and wisedh a quick recovery for those who were injured.
“Friday’s terrorist attack was deplorable. We urge all concerned to condemn such violence and to do everything possible to prevent it,” the statement said
