The UAE strongly condemned a terrorist attack which targeted a Saudi security team while they were conducting patrols in the province of Qatif, Saudi Arabia.

The Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry said in a statement that they strongly condemn and denounce the terrorist incident. The statement confirmed the UAE's position of rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

It also called on the international community to address terrorism as a global phenomenon that threatens international security and stability.

The Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences to the government and people of Saudi Arabia. They also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured as well as condoled the personnel that were martyred by the attack.
