The Shura Council Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security condemned the terror attack on a police bus on Khalifa bin Salman Highnway, near Jidhafs, in which a policeman died and many others were injured.
It denounced terrorist crimes that threaten the kingdom’s security and stability, jeopardise civil and social peace and pose a danger to people’s lives.
The committee extended condolences to the family of the late serviceman, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. It affirmed that the criminal acts committed by the unlawful groups would never hamper the implementation of development projects, praising the tremendous efforts of the security bodies to maintain security and stability in Bahrain. It also expressed confidence in them to track down the perpetrators of the police bus blast and bring them to justice.
